James W. Makowski was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He attended Whittier College, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology upon graduation in 1978.
Then, he attended the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry and obtained his DDS in 1983.
Since then, he has been providing individuals and families across Colorado with high-quality dental services.
Dr. Makowski served as a preceptor at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver from 1992 to 1995.
He has also worked as a clinical instructor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School since 1993.
