Dental veneers are custom-designed shells of tooth-like ceramic material that, when applied over the surface of a tooth, can cover worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment or spacing and chips or cracks.
Veneers fall into the category of cosmetic dentistry because they create a bright, white smile with beautifully aligned, shapely teeth.
Even better, the translucent ceramic quality of today's veneers provides a more natural look than what's been available in the past.
Dental crowns made of porcelain fused to metal are stronger than all-ceramic versions and more aesthetically pleasing than those made of metal.

Did you know that dental implants are frequently the best treatment option for replacing missing teeth?
Rather than resting on the gum line like removable dentures, or using adjacent teeth as anchors like fixed bridges, dental implants are long-term replacements that your oral and maxillofacial surgeon surgically places in the jawbone.
Statistics show that 69% of adults ages 35 to 44 have lost at least one permanent tooth to an accident, gum disease, a failed root canal or tooth decay.
Furthermore, by age 74, 26% of adults have lost all of their permanent teeth.
