Appointment was made for morning (1 day) following incident. Doctor was prompt and highly professional. He also extended time to perform procedures required. Doctor Weiss was so patient and thorough. Was able to save tooth. Procedures required greater time than was planned but doctor and staff worked around time constraints. Highly recommend dentist.

We use advanced dental techniques in a relaxed, caring environment.
Our staff Periodontist, Dr. Wendy Burstein, specializes in all areas of periodontics and periodontal surgery.
Having a periodontist, Dr. Wendy Burstein, on staff at Weiss Dentistry is a service and a convenience we offer our patients with gum disease.
There's no need for you to go to another office across town.
Dr. Wendy Burstein helps patients establish and maintain healthy gums and bone, as well as diagnose and treat gum issues.
If you have gum disease, you might see the periodontist for routine cleanings, as well as more extensive scaling root planing until your gums are healthy again.
Dental implants are replacement tooth roots.
Implants provide a permanent, strong foundation for fixed (permanent) or removable replacement teeth that are made to match your natural teeth.
Patients need to have healthy gums and enough bone to support an implant.
In order to be considered for an implant, patients need a dental/radiographic examination and health history review.
After ensuring the quality of your oral health and adequate bone support, we will develop an individualized treatment plan, and the implant process can begin.
Mini Dental Implants (MDI) are narrower in diameter than regular dental implants.
These new, small diameter or Mini implants do not involve a surgical procedure.
That's a big plus!
This allows for quick healing.
In fact, in most cases your denture can be immediately adapted and connected to the new implant, at the same visit!
The "Mini" implants can help you eat and speak with confidence.
There is, in most cases, no surgical procedure, and the healing period is quick.
Your "mini" supported denture will, in most cases, no longer require "adhesives" to keep it in place.
An integral component of successful standard dental implants is the quality and quantity of bone where the implant is to be placed.
The process of tooth removal can often leave inadequate height or width (or both) of supporting bone.
This may necessitate placement of a bone graft in the future implant site.
A bone graft is made of either synthetic bone or human donor tissue.
This procedure known as, "site preservation", will help insure a strong and long lasting implant supported restoration.
With standard dental implants, the tooth root implant, which is a small post made of titanium, is placed into the bone socket of the missing tooth.
