After a brief career as an accountant, Dr. Westfall decided his true calling was in the dental field.
He graduated from the University Of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in 1998.
Following graduation, he spent 15 years working in community health clinics in Oklahoma and Texas providing dental care to underserved children and adults.
It was during this time that he discovered a passion for treating children.
Dr. Westfall also spent 8 years as a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserves from 2000 to 2008.

Neglected cavities can and frequently do lead to problems which affect developing permanent teeth.
Primary teeth, or baby teeth are important for (1) proper chewing and eating, (2) providing space for the permanent teeth and guiding them into the correct position, and (3) permitting normal development of the jaw bones and muscles.
