At Tribeca Pediatric Dentistry, we believe that a beautiful smile can brighten your child's life, and strong teeth and gums are essential to your child's overall good health. Dr. Roula Tsolis, and Dr. Lori Paires are specialists in pediatric dentistry, which means they have advanced education and training in the unique dental needs of infants, children, and adolescents.
Our number-one goal is prevention of oral health problems by teaching kids the importance of brushing and flossing. However, should a problem occur, you can rest assured that we have the expertise to restore your child's smile to complete health. To make sure your child's experience is stress-free, we make a point of explaining what we're going to do in simple-to-understand, non-dental terms.
We do all we can to make sure your child's dental experience is as comfortable, calm, and stress-free as possible. Our practice is specially designed to create a comfortable and safe environment for children while performing the most up-to-date techniques.

Dr. Roula Tsolis earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry and completed a one-year general practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
It was there she realized her love and natural ability for treating children.
After her general residency, Dr. Roula went on to specialize in pediatric dentistry, and earned her certificate from Interfaith Medical Center, where she was also chosen to be chief resident.
Following her graduation, she was asked to stay on board at Interfaith as a pediatric dental attending, to supervise post-doctoral residents in their pediatric training, present lectures, discuss and review the most recent journals and literature in pediatrics, and provide the residents with invaluable guidance for future endeavors.

Using the most advanced dental technology possible is just as important as staying up to date on the latest treatment techniques.
Because our practice is dedicated to providing your child with the safest and most convenient treatment options available, we utilize advanced digital X-ray technology in our office.
Because we care about your child's bodily health and well-being, we believe that reducing the amount of radiation exposure is extremely important.
Although the amount of radiation used in dental X-rays is very small, the effect is cumulative, so all radiation counts.

Preventive dental care is important throughout life, especially at a young age.
By practicing good oral hygiene at home and scheduling regular checkups with the dentist, your child can help keep her smile bright and healthy for many years to come.
Make sure your child brushes her teeth at least twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush.
Use fluoride toothpaste to remove food particles and plaque from the tooth surfaces.
Also be sure she brushes the top surface of her tongue; this will remove any extra plaque-causing food particles and help keep her breath fresh!.

My three kids are all regulars here since it opened (one kid is more regular than the others. ..). We followed the dentist when she parted from the previous clinic. They are very professional and the facilities may not be big but very much up to date. They do not take insurance directly but will submit the claims on our behalf and we have never had problems on that front.
