Atlantic Pediatric Dentistry
Welcome to the pediatric dental practice of Dr. Safari & Dr. Guerrasio! Our office provides specialized dentistry for children and adolescents in a warm, caring and "child-friendly" environment. As pediatric dentists, our 2-3 years of additional training after dental school has prepared us for the unique dental needs of each child we serve. We focus on preventive care to help each child grow a healthy smile that will last a lifetime.

Our office serves infants, children, teens and children with special health care needs in Little Silver, NJ and the surrounding areas of Shrewsbury, Red Bank, Middletown, Fairhaven and Rumson.
Services
Atlantic Pediatric Dentistry's Staff is dedicated to providing you with the best pediatric dental care in the region, offering quality dental treatment to all children and adolescents in a caring and compassionate environment.
The office staff is a highly specialized and selected staff of professionals who are trained to assist all of your needs.
Dr. Safari's philosophy on treating children and those with special need is to treat the whole person, not just the teeth.
He believes the only way in which we can be successful in developing a healthy generation of children who are free of dental disease is by establishing good preventative and comprehensive oral care, while building self confidence in each child.
Welcome to our practice and the world of Pediatric Dentistry.
We have prepared this section for you to help you and your child for your first visit to our practice.
We have linked a health history for you to complete and bring with you for your visit.
This allows us to learn more about your child's medical and dental history so that we can better answer your questions and prepare a treatment plan best suited to your child's needs.
At the first visit we will perform a complete oral, head and neck examination and allow your child to get acquainted with our facilities and staff.
Our office has an "open door" policy for our patient families.
We feel that a child's first dental home should foster a strong relationship between the dental professional and the child's primary caregivers.
This relationship gives us the best opportunity to educate and instruct each family member on how to best maintain optimal oral health.
Technology is an important component of any pediatric dental office.
We continually update our equipment to provide the best care possible.
Digital x-rays, paperless check-in, and latex free supplies are just some of the ways that we have continued to improve our care.
Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided.
Every effort will be made to provide a treatment plan which fits your timetable and budget, and gives your child the best possible care.
We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards and visa and master cards.
Our insurance experts will assist you with your insurance to obtain the maximum benefits allowable.
Please keep us informed of any insurance changes such as policy name, insurance company address, or a change of employment.

A pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through their teenage years.
Children, pre-teens, and teenagers all need different approaches to deal with their behavior, guide their dental growth and development, and help them avoid future dental problems.
A pediatric dentist is best qualified to meet children's needs of all ages.
