I attended Gavilan College and San Jose State University where I studied Biological Sciences.
After, I moved to Southern California where I received my dental degree from Loma Linda University in 1992.
Since my father, Dr. Alden Banner, was already practicing dentistry in Gilroy for many years, I joined him in his practice in 1992.

She graduated with honors from the Santa Clara County R.O.P. Dental Assisting Program, which began her career in the dental field.
