Services
A husband and wife dental team with a mission to provide excellent dental care to their patients and treat them as if they were family.
Their passion for general and pediatric dentistry and the fascination of surgical cosmetic dentistry has led them to create a fun, safe, and inviting environment for their patients.
They strive to create a positive atmosphere that is inviting and welcoming.
Denada wanted to be a dentist since her early teens, as she was fascinated with the whole surgical cosmetic aspect.
Growing up, Boris Kleyman had some bad experiences at the dentist (grown-ups, maybe you can relate).
But instead of avoiding the dentist for the rest of his life, Boris had a better idea: become a dentist, and deliver better dental care for kids himself!
A few years later (okay, maybe a lot of years later), Boris Kleyman is now Dr. Boris Kleyman, board-certified pediatric dentist and co-owner, with his wife Dr. Denada Kleyman, of Bright Star Sapphire Family Dentistry here in Fair Lawn.
Dr. Boris Kleyman received his bachelor's degree in economics from Hunter College ('06), and went on to complete dental school at Howard University School of Dentistry, where he received his DDS ('12).
Bringing your child to the dentist is crucial in maintaining a healthy, bright smile.
It is advised that all parents find a suitable dentist before a child has turned one by looking at recommendations through the AAPD (American Academy of Pediatric Dentists) or the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics).
By establishing your child with a trained pediatric dentist, they are able to receive the preventative and corrective care that they need.
When bringing your child to the dentist for the first time, you may be tempted to talk to them about what to expect.
Your child will benefit from routine dental care in order to maintain a bright, healthy smile.
Along with receiving preventative and corrective care in the office, dental appointments are crucial in teaching your child how to take care of their teeth at home.
Home care is key to maintaining healthy teeth and because of this, creating a regular dental care schedule is vitally important to a child's confidence and overall well-being.
When Should You Bring Your Child to the Dentist?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentists (AAPD) recommends that parents find a suitable dentist for their child either before the child turns one or at the first sign of a tooth coming up through the gums, whichever comes first.
Dental exams and cleanings are important for a young child's development.
By receiving regular oral checkups every 6 months, it allows the dentist to be able to monitor how your child's teeth are coming in, or if there are any underlying issues that can be resolved sooner rather than later.
The oral examinations involve a complete checkup of your child's teeth, detection of any underlying oral problems, and monitoring of teeth spacing.
The exams are non invasive and easy for your child.
Cleanings are essential because it prevents decay and cavities from forming.
