Dr. Frank Tarantino is a different kind of dentist. His gentle approach, excellent clinical skills, and his commitment to patient education will make you and your family feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. Dr. Tarantino places a high priority on staying current with emerging dental technology. He attends a multitude of continuing education courses each year concerning everything from the latest trends in patient comfort and service, to training in complex cosmetic and restorative care.
His professional affilitations include membership in the American Dental Association, the Naussau County Dental Society, along with the Queens County Dental Society. He also volunteered through the Dominican Republic Dental Outreach Program where he had the opportunity to participate in local outreach programs for school children, the elderly, people with disabilities, the homeless, and other disadvantaged populations.
I visited Dr. Tarantino's office with a problem recently. I was immediately met by a welcoming and professional staff.

Dr. Josh grew up in Manhattan where he was adopted by a Jewish family, hence his last name Prensky.
Dr. Josh started as an architect major in CCNY's 5 year architecture program, but decided to take his artistic skills and pursue dentistry at NYU where he met Dr Frank.
After graduating in 2005, he completed a dental residency at Jamaica Hospital with Dr Tarantino.
Dr. Josh enjoys building relationships with his patients of the south shore and plans on moving closer one day!

Nicole graduated Farmingdale State College in 2012 with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene.
She started working at South Shore Aesthetic Dentistry right after graduation while pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene, which she received in 2014.
Nicole has developed a strong and lasting relationship with so many of our patients.
She's very caring and makes them feel at ease.
Marisa graduated from the University of New haven with her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2017.
