Dr. Vidal is of Cuban origin and immigrated to the United States at 3 years of age with her family, and settled in New Jersey.
She received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Columbia University's Barnard College in 1985, and continued her graduate studies at Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree in 1989.
After graduation she completed her General Practice Residency at Englewood Hospital in 1990.
Upon completion of residency, Dr. Vidal joined the preclinical restorative dentistry staff at Columbia, and is currently a member of the Board of Admissions at the Dental School.
