Services
Dr. Hargleroad is a native of west central Nebraska.
Upon graduation, she moved to Des Moines, Iowa and attended Drake University.
She transferred to Colorado State University after that first year and obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences in December of 1994.
At Colorado State, she was actively involved in student government, Greek Life, and her senior year was selected as a Pacesetter during the homecoming festivities.
She also began to work for the City of Fort Collins' pools at this time.
Use a toothbrush with soft bristles and a small, "pea sized", amount of fluoride toothpaste.
Brush slowly and carefully, covering all areas between teeth and the surface of each tooth.
Begin with the top teeth and when all four steps are completed, repeat on the lower teeth.
It will take you several minutes to thoroughly brush your teeth.
Before you finish, remember to brush your tongue and the roof of your mouth!
Please make sure that you spit out any excess toothpaste.
For a child over the age of three, we recommend a parent helps with brushing his/her teeth twice a day with a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste.
We follow the recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry that a child's first dental visit should occur by 12 months of age.
This infant oral health exam will allow Dr. Hargleroad to examine your child for any dental problems and will allow her to monitor your child's growth and development.
She will discuss with you many topics including oral hygiene, diet, fluoride, tooth eruption, and oral habits.
Starting dental appointments early will help prevent problems in the future and will ensure a positive attitude toward dental care.
