We are a premier pediatric dental office in Lake Oswego, OR providing outstanding dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. A pediatric dentist completes two to three years specialty training after dental school. Children should visit the dentist by their first birthday.
At around 4 years we capture your child's first x-rays to ensure proper positioning of adult teeth and catch any issues early.
At around six years of age, your child will see their first adult tooth appear, triggering the loss of their first baby tooth.
Around seven years you can consider dental sealants on the first permanent molars to arrive.
At about age 8, we'll be able to advise whether an orthodontic referral for early treatment may be advisable.
At around 12 years of age, your child's final baby teeth will fall out, with permanent adult teeth taking their place.
As a courtesy we will bill insurance for you.
It is your responsibility to provide us with your insurance card or all of the information needed to bill your insurance as well as to inform us of any changes to your insurance.
Questions about your insurance benefits should be directed to your insurance company.
If you do not have insurance, or if extensive treatment is required, we will be happy to establish a payment plan.
