After graduating from Dental School at New York University, he moved to San Francisco and completed a residency program at UCSF.
Dr. Monika Elek was born in Hungary and moved to Los Angeles with her family as a child.
She graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Microbiology and went on to earn her dental degree at New York University.
Dr. Petrush and Dr. Elek moved to the East Bay where they were married and currently live with their two children.
