Originally from Indiana, Sarah moved to North Carolina with her family at a young age.
With such a passion and drive for dentistry, she worked as an orthodontic dental lab technician soon after graduating from high school.
Sarah graduated from Wake Technical Community College's Dental Assisting program in 2014 and obtained her CDA credentials.
During her dental assisting program, she was awarded the Tracy Holmes Britt Teamwork Award and the Academic Achievement Award.
Sarah went on to work in pediatric dentistry as a dental assistant before pursuing her dream of becoming a dental hygienist.
