He is a recipient of the UCLA Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, which is awarded to the dentist showing exceptional skills in restorative dentistry (crowns, fillings, bridges).
Dr. Nguyen was also on faculty at UCLA serving as a clinical instructor at the dental school.
