Dr. Douglas Shindollar was born in Indiana and wanted to be a dentist since his second year of high school.
The first person in his family to finish college, he went on to graduate second in his dental school class at the Indiana University.
He then moved to Chicago to complete a two-year general practice residency program at Michael Reese Medical Center.
This program provided him with additional training in all the modern aspects of family dentistry and gave him the opportunity to learning more complex, advanced procedures.
