Dr. Mekawy earned her undergraduate degree at Alexandria University in Egypt.
She completed an advanced dental residency program at New York University (NYU) in New York City, which focused on mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, before finishing her dental degree from the NYU College of Dentistry.
