Dr. Chuong Do was born in Vietnam in 1969.
Near the end of Vietnam conflict, his family fled for the US and after a harrowing journey, ended up in Texas, sponsored by a church in Arlington.
The family moved to Grand Prairie, where he attended school--graduating from South Grand Prairie High School.
He was captain of the tennis team and even earned scholarship offers, but chose the US Naval Academy for the prestige and honor of serving his country as a Naval Aviator.
After graduation from the Naval Academy, he began the Navy's flight training, eventually earning his "Wings" and flying the SH-60F Seahawk helicopter.
