We will review your dental x-rays with you, explain why you need certain treatment and what happens if you don't take care of it.

Our dentists offer a full range of dental services including general check ups, cleanings, dental fillings for adults and children, crowns & bridges, dentures, implants, braces, Invisalign and cosmetics (veneers & teeth whitening). We also have staff and dentists on site who speak Chinese, Vietnamese, French & Spanish. I had a minor dental emergency and Dr. Hsu was able to fit me in immediately.

He was so nice and patient with me as I was experiencing some anxiety due to the pain I was feeling. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hsu! It takes four additional years after college or university to complete dental school and obtain your doctorate in dental surgery or medicine.
DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry or Doctor of Dental Medicine) are the same degrees.
It's simply up to the universities to determine what degree is awarded, but both degrees use the same curriculum requirements.
Contrary to popular belief, general dentists are trained to perform all phases of dentistry.
However, many dentists lack the experience to tackle tough cases that often require additional training.
Routine teeth cleanings and xrays are a must if you want to keep your pearly whites.
Everyday plaque and calculus accumulating on your teeth and beneath your gums despite your best efforts to brush and floss them.
As dentists and hygienists, we use powerful dental microscopes to carefully check each surface of every tooth to ensure that they are clean and cavity free!
While good brushing and flossing habits are paramount to oral health, plaque still naturally builds on and in between the teeth.
Cavities comes in all sizes and its useful to categorize them as such.
On a scale of 1 to 10, a one would be a tooth that has some visible staining in the grooves or a discolored patch on your tooth that you might see if you haven't been brushing well or after you take your braces off.
At this point you likely won't have any symptoms and many dentists would recommend a watch and observe.
A 4 out of 10 would be the moment when the cavity has grown in size and starts to break through the thickness of your enamel.
