We are creating a family-centered practice that focuses on oral health and rehabilitation of tooth function. Dr. Alexander is a licensed general dental practitioner in the State of New Jersey and the State of Pennsylvania. She received her doctorate in dentistry from New York University College of Dentistry. In 2002, she worked as an Associate Dentist at a practice in Matawan, NJ which she purchased in 2008.
In 2011, she relocated Style Your Smile Dentistry to Hazlet, NJ. Dr. Alexander keeps herself updated with the latest dental technology by attending continuing education courses and seminars. In 2004, she trained under the Ross Institute for Dental Learning in North Carolina, and was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for completion of the Esthetic Epitome to Esthetic dentistry.
She has taken several courses in Columbia University, NY; Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, NJ; and courses in Facial injectables with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is certified in the treatment of INVISALIGN(R), with Align Technology.

Don't let your baby fall asleep with a bottle.
Babies who sleep with a bottle of milk, formula, fruit juice, or other drink can develop severe tooth decay.
If you must put your baby to bed with a bottle, fill it with cool water.

For the inside of the top front teeth, angle the brush in an up-and-down position with the tip of the head pointing toward the roof of the mouth.
Move the toothbrush in a small circle.
Give your tongue a few gentle brush strokes, brushing from the back of your tongue forward.
To clean the inside of the bottom front teeth, angle the head in an up-and-down position toward the bottom inside of the mouth and move the toothbrush in a small circle.
For the inside of the top front teeth, angle the brush in an up-and-down position with the tip of the head pointing toward the roof of the mouth.
Move the toothbrush in a small circle.
