Modern scientific evidence is finding an increasing number of links between oral health and overall health.
For example, gum disease can let bacteria to into your bloodstream and wreak havoc on your body, including your heart.
A few diseases that have been linked to oral health are: diabetes, cardiovascular disease, pregnancy and birth complications, HIV/AIDS, osteoporosis, and others.
Additionally, the death rate for oral cancer is higher than that of cervical cancer, Hodgkin's disease, cancer of the brain, liver, skin, testes, or liver.
Each time you get your in-office bleaching through the Smiles for Life program, 100% of the proceeds go to children around the world who are underprivileged, disabled, or seriously ill.
Dr. Thomas' team donates their time and the Smiles for Life Foundation donates the supplies, ensuring that every penny goes to helping kids in need.
Dr. Thomas also travels with the Smiles for Life Foundation as a volunteer dentist.
These dentists go to underprivileged communities around the world and provide free dental care to those who can't afford treatment.
Botox is a safe, FDA-approved way to relax the wrinkles in your face.
It works by inhibiting certain muscles from contracting, smoothing the lines and creases that come with age.
Botox can be injected into many areas of the face, some of the most popular sites being the forehead, glabella (11's), crows feet, across the nasal bridge, and near the eyebrow.
As you age, your skin naturally becomes thinner and loses volume.
This inevitably causes not only lines and creases, but also saggy skin.
Fillers can restore some of this volume, creating the appearance of a younger face, and filling in both deep and fine creases.
When you meet people, what is the first thing they see?
Your smile, of course!
An attractive smile is one of the best ways to make a strong first impression and feel confident in your skin.
Dr. Thomas was the first dentist in Utah accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic dentistry!
The AACD is the world's largest organization for dental professionals, and accreditation is a rigorous progress and prestigious achievement.
Porcelain Veneers | Veneers are a permanent solution to cosmetic dental problems such as chipped or broken teeth, cracked teeth, misshapen teeth, gapped teeth, worn-down teeth, small teeth, and stained or discolored teeth.
It's not uncommon for adults to be missing one or more teeth.
Whatever the reason-decay, an accident, genetics, or general wear and tear-implants are the perfect solution.
A dental implant is a tooth replacement anchored into the jawbone.
This connection ensures the longevity of the implant and is a more natural and affordable alternative to dentures or bridges.
Our implants are specifically designed to match your existing teeth and bite pattern.
Without filling the space created by a missing tooth, gaps remain open and other teeth may spread out to accommodate, affecting your ability to bite and chew.
