Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.
Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.

Dr. Stockdale grew up in Southern California, graduating from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.
He has taken extensive continuing education in orthodontics, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.
In addition, in 2006 he completed a mini-residency at USC for the placement and restoration of dental implants.
When he is not working, Dr. Stockdale enjoys skiing, traveling, and water sports of all kinds.
