Set of specialized procedures designed to treat problems of the soft pulp (nerve) tissue inside the tooth. A dental implant most often takes the form of a small, screw-shaped titanium post that replaces the root-part of a missing tooth. Veneers improve the aesthetics of a smile and/or protect the tooth's surface from damage. At PROGRESSIVE DENTAL SOLUTIONS our priority is to deliver quality care to informed patients in a comfortable, relaxed and convenient setting.

When restoration procedures such as root canal therapy, crowns or fillings are not enough to save a tooth, it may need to be pulled, or extracted.
Tooth extraction procedures today are vastly less painful than ever before, thanks to powerful anesthetics and sedatives.
In many cases, a patient who has a tooth pulled experiences little or no discomfort, and only minor bleeding.
Before a tooth is extracted, the area surrounding the tooth is numbed with a topical/and or injectible anesthetic, such as Novocaine.

Implants are biocompatible, synthetic structures placed in the jawbone to take the place of the root of a natural tooth that is missing.
After placement, implants normally require four to six months for the natural bone to integrate (ie heal) around the implant to make it secure.
After that time the implant is typically restored with a crown although some implants are restored with a different attachment used to better hold a denture in place.
Implants vary in width and length depending on the space available in the jawbone where it is to be used.
