How often should I schedule appointments?
We find it beneficial for checkups to be performed every six months.
This interval allows us to monitor your oral health and make recommendations in a timely manner.
More frequent visits may be recommended for patients receiving orthodontic treatment.
Why do you need to take X-rays (radiographs)?
Dental x-rays are pictures of the teeth, bones, and surrounding soft tissues to screen for and help identify problems with the teeth, mouth, and jaw.
X-rays can show cavities, hidden dental structures (such as wisdom teeth), and bone loss that cannot be seen during a visual examination.
