She graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and obtained a Masters of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta.
Her medical school education was at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and she completed her pediatric training at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
She is board certified in pediatrics, and has been caring for children in McKinney since 2010.
