Services
I grew up in the Ogden area and attended Weber High School.
After serving a LDS mission to the Eastern States (New York area) I returned home and married my wife Susan Taylor from Harrisville, Utah.
After graduating and completing schooling at Weber State, we packed up our little family of two boys and headed off to dental school in San Francisco attending the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.
After graduation from dental school we returned home to join the family dental practice associating with my Father and added a little girl to our family.
These are general post op instructions for the following procedures.
If you are having symptoms that are not covered here or have a dental emergency, please contact the office directly.
Do not suck on area where surgery occurred or drink through a straw during the first 48 hours.
Eating: You should start with liquids and very soft foods for the first 24-48 hours following the surgery.
If the area feels a little better, you can then move on to a normal diet.
Be careful of chewing on hard foods near the surgical area.
Digital x-rays are quickly becoming the standard in dental imaging.
Digital x-rays allow the doctor to get a much better view of your teeth and potential dental conditions.
The digital imaging software allows the doctor to see a number of different views and exact measurements of the tooth to gain a better understanding of the proper course of management.
Digital x-rays provide a great benefit to the patient.
Not only are they an excellent diagnostic tool, but also they decrease radiation to the patient by over 80% because they require less exposure than standard dental radiographs.
