He graduated from Universidad Americana in Nicaragua in 2007 and then attended the University of Connecticut (UConn) College of Dental Medicine Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program (AEGD), with a residency from 2007 to 2009, and a Fellowship from 2009 to 2011.
Dr. Guirola has earned special certifications and completed continuing education courses in Endodontics, or the treatment of serious oral health issues such as dental infection.
