Dr. Chen grew up in Northern Virginia and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Virginia.
He attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle and graduated in 1994.
After passing the dental board exams in four regions, he furthered his dental training in a two year residency at the Unversity of Maryland Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in his second year.
Dr. Chen far exceeds his yearly requirement for continuing education and has attained the status of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Initially you will sit in a chair with your chin on a small ledge.
Once positioned in the machine, it will rotate around your entire head taking a full 360 degree view of the teeth, head, sinuses and bones.
The ability to view the full structure of your head as a whole is very informative to the dentist.
It will allow us to see any potential problems and make sure that everything is functioning as it should be.
