At Steckler Pediatric Dentistry we know that a lifetime of healthy smiles begins with a baby's first tooth. Our kid-friendly practice is built on a love for children and a desire for them to be comfortable with dentistry. It is our goal for our patients to receive the highest quality of care, in a positive environment, and to provide dental education for the entire family- ultimately, creating healthy and beautiful smiles for all.
All of our kid-centered services are provided in a calm, caring environment in order to provide you and your child with a positive experience. Pediatric dentists have 2-3 additional years of training and education after dental school that are specific to caring for the oral health of children. In our opinion, taking your child to see a pediatric dental specialist is as important as taking them to see a pediatrician.
The AAPD recommends that your child should be seen no later than 6 months after their first tooth erupts from the gum. Little teeth need as much attention as "big teeth" to prevent decay and encourage life-long healthy habits.
