Dr. Mitchell Vaughan, a father of three himself, knew early in his dental education that he wanted to focus on caring for children and shaping their experience with dentistry from an early age.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hendrix College in 1997.
He was then accepted into the dental program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where he achieved the Doctor of Dental Surgery designation in 2001.
The next three years of Dr. Vaughan's continued education were spent focusing exclusively on the practice of dentistry for children and he was awarded the Pediatric Dentistry Certificate in 2004.
