I have been frightened of the dentist for over 50 years, Dr. Lee Byerly and the whole team have helped to ease my anxiety while in the chair. Not saying I'm completely at ease but they make a very unpleasant situation for me, bearable, something I haven't been able to find anywhere else. The work they have done on my teeth is good and I feel comfortable in recommending Byerly Family Dental to anyone who has any anxiety around going to the dentist.

If you struggle with pain due to clenching and grinding your teeth, a custom-made bite guard may be the solution to your problems.

Bite guards serve varying purposes and are often recommended for use in patients of all ages.

Cosmetic bonding is a procedure in which a tooth-colored resin material is applied and hardened with a special light, which ultimately "bonds" the material to the tooth to restore or improve a patient's smile.
Little advanced preparation is needed for dental bonding.
Anesthesia is often not necessary unless the bonding is being used to fill a decayed tooth, the tooth needs to be drilled to change its shape, or the chip is near the nerve.
Your dentist will use a shade guide to select a composite resin color that will closely match the color of your tooth.

Locate the tooth and pick it up by the top, not touching the roots.
If the tooth is dirty, rinse it with water, do not remove any fragments of tissue and do not scrub it.
Insert it in the socket if possible and hold it there.
If it cannot be inserted in the socket, put it in some milk and get to the dentist as soon as possible.
