After 10 years as a traditional dentist, Dr. Blackwell knew a big change was needed to make dentistry better for her family, her patients, and the planet. Dr. Blackwell's passion for safer, healthier living led her to merge natural beauty and aesthetics of modern dentistry with a more holistic, oral-systemic approach to dentistry. Her mission is to support her patients with long-term oral health and whole-body wellness in a safe, collaborative, clean, and comfortable space.
Dr. Blackwell earned her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science at Spelman College and her dental degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she completed her residency training at the VA Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She earned a Fellowship Award with the Academy of General Dentistry.
