Keep pressure on the extraction site with the cotton gauze provided to you with written post operative instructions for 1-3 hours to help control the bleeding.
Change as cotton gauze becomes saturated by folding 2 or 3 times and placing over extraction site and close to keep pressure on site.
You have just had either a permanent crown or bridge cemented onto your natural tooth/teeth.
Children should be observed until the anesthetic wears off.
Due to the strange feeling of the anesthetic, many children will chew the inside of their lips, cheeks or tongue which can cause serious damage.

Jupiter Family Dental will be my forever dental office. From moving back home to Jupiter after seeing a “city dentist” for years, the difference of care and consideration is night and day. Dr. Kates isn’t looking for a quick fix which will bring you back in six months, he actually wants to set you up for success. The receptionist woman is amazing and everyone from his dental team I’ve met is beyond great — truly a different experience.
