Your initial visit will last 1 1/2 hours. This will ensure that all of our time is devoted to you and your dental needs. Mesa Dental uses advanced digital diagnostic technology to evaluate your entire mouth - teeth, gums, occlusion, jaw joints, and soft tissues. A head and neck evaluation, oral cancer screening, and gum disease assessment will complete your checkup.

All necessary low radiation digital x-rays as well as digital intraoral photos of your teeth. Gathering data about your chewing muscles, jaw joints and your bite, and how these components all work together. Evaluating the health of your gums and other soft parts of your mouth, looking for signs of disease, oral cancer and injury. Assessing the health of each individual tooth and the condition of existing fillings, crowns, implants, bonding, etc.

All of the information we gather will be reviewed by you and Dr. Mann, and you will be an active participant in planning any necessary dental treatment. You will be encouraged to ask questions and share your thoughts so that we can create a custom dental care plan that makes you feel confident and comfortable.
