You want the best, well Dr. Dan is your man. I am scared of the dentist, but with Dan he makes you feel right at home. Two other dentists wanted to pull my tooth, I did not want to go down that avenue. In 3 minutes Dr. Dan said that he could save it. 5 Years later, still no issues. Not only is Dan a great Dentist, he is also caring and understanding and outstanding man, he also donates time and money for the community.

When we first began our practice, we became increasingly frustrated when the dental procedures and treatments we learned in dental school failed to improve a patients overall health. We began to research the alternatives and sought advanced dentistry courses as well as alternative medical approaches, in order to find better tools for patient care.

The mouth is only one part of the whole picture. At Portland City Dental, our experienced team of specialists is invested in meeting all of your dental needs.

Dry Mouth: Known as xerostomia, dry mouth is common in geriatric patients.
It is a decrease in the production of saliva.
You may not be aware of the important role that saliva plays in your dental health.
Saliva is a natural cleaning agent, removing food debris and plaque from your mouth.
Patients can develop dry mouth from certain medications, from changes to their health, or even changes to their nutrition.
We may want to discuss any known changes to see if we can elevate saliva production or discuss other possibilities.
