He is a third-generation orthodontist in the practice began by his grandfather and his father Thomas.
He began his higher education by studying at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Va., graduating with a bachelor's degree in chemistry.
He then went on to Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., and earned his doctorate of dental surgery degree.

Although we can file claims to any carrier, this office is only in-network with Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Principal and United Concordia.
