Typically we recommend that you wait until they have had their first teeth erupt or at least right around their first birthday, whichever is earlier.
The initial visit is usually just a wellness check and we can advise regarding keeping their mouth clean.
Some babies and kids are very uncomfortable in a dental setting and might need to be referred to a Pedodontist.
We will make every effort to make them comfortable and treat them in our office before considering a referral to a specialist.
