Schwed Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics

My kids absolutely love coming here! (They were never a fan of going to dentists) but they're always asking when is the next time they're going to come to this office! Staff is super friendly and they make it super fun for the kids!

Dr. Schwed is wonderful. My daughter is a very anxious kid so I was worried when I heard she had a cavity. Dr. Schwed was patient and caring with her - PLUS he took out the cavity with a LASER! There were NO injections or pain - nothing! It really was incredible. Thank you Dr. Schwed!

Great experience here! My 18 month old chipped his front tooth and Dr. Schwed and his staff were wonderful. He was very patient and kind with my son and explained everything thoroughly. We didn't feel rushed. I thought their pricing was very reasonable and definitely cheaper than taking my other kids (3 & 5) to my adult dentist. They have tvs on the ceiling which is so helpful, toys and stickers, coloring pages, etc.

We haven't had to wait long to be seen which is a plus with little kids. I switched all 3 of my kids here and all have had a great experience here. Update: my daughter had to have 1 crown and 2 fillings. If you want your child to have a white crown (versus stainless steel) go to Dr. Schwed! He does both, and it sounds like the stainless steel crowns are most common, but we wanted the white crown.

He & his team are very patient and kind. We had a great experience! And, my husband came home and looked in her mouth and couldn't tell which tooth had the crown nice job Dr. Schwed!

We had an amazing experience at Dr. Schwed's office - from Neli patiently explaining insurance coverage at the front desk to Bre's amazing bedside manner with my son to Dr. Schwed clarifying my sons dental situation and helping me choose the best option for treatment. Thank you so much!

I am a dentist myself and in the field and I testify that Dr Schwed has the best ever possible office and equipment and materials for his practice and does practice the most updated evidence based pediatric dentistry.he is very ethical and very honest, caring and kind. He does offer the safest way of sedation for comfort of children that have anxiety or need extensive work. I have been in his office and had seen his amazing work and is highly recommended.

I went to two different dentist the previous two years and was really disappointed. A friend referred Dr. Schwed and I'm so appreciative because he was great. Really took time to ensure I not only understood what my daughter needed but that I saw it as well. Not to mention the price quoted to fix it was substantially lower.

I took my two kids to this dentist, and we had a great experience. The dentist was excellent with children, and my kids felt comfortable throughout the visit. I highly recommend this dentist for anyone looking for quality pediatric care.

It was a wonderful experience. The entire staff and doctor were so friendly and had great personalities. Fantastic sense of humor which made my daughters entire experience ten times better and not as daunting. I never had such a great time at a dentist office. Amazing atmosphere and spoke honestly to my daughter and I. Very gentle and understanding during the dental procedure. As well as patient. Will definitely continue going here for my daughters dental needs.

Dr Schwed and Team, The whole experience was excellent! Everyone of the team had a kind and compassionate bedside manner. You explained options clearly and answered all my questions about the "Laser" treatment. No drilling! Yay! Everything was super kid friendly. The office is full of stuff to make kids (and parentals) feel well distracted and actually want to come back. Nat Geo mags, Movies and TV channel choice in every room. Toys and play area even for little ones.

The office was sparkling clean and full of natural light. We got an appointment on the same day for my daughter's cavity. She was more calm in the chair than she has been with any doctor ever! So lucky to find a Dentist with actual nursing experience as well as a staff of experienced nurses. Other things which impressed me: Your name over the door and not some anonymous spearmint fresh bright smiley name. Props! You even took our not so great insurance! So glad we found you.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone was lovely and so communicative - it really put us at ease. Dr. Schwed is brilliant, thorough and so kind. If you're like us and have a kiddo with medical anxiety I couldn't recommend this practice enough.

Dr. Schwed is very knowledgeable and addressed our daughter's tongue tie immediately. Explained everything each step of the way and His office also ensured our insurance had procedure codes so we understood what was covered or not in advance. Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable. I immediately noticed a difference in regards to weighing before and after feeds for my daughter prior to the tie she'd only consume a max of 12g on a side breast feeding and after the procedure, only a few hours later she consumed 42g breast feeding on one side based upon a scale we got from our lactation consultant.

Dr. Schwed has been amazing with our 2 girls. He diagnosed and treated a lip tie on our infant and the changes were amazing. She started breastfeeding more efficiently. We immediately changed dentists for both girls. He always takes the time to listen to any concerns and provides knowledgeable guidance. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Schwed!

I have found the most excellent pediatric dental office for my children! Dr. Schwed really took the time to talk to me about my children's dental health and needs. Its refreshing having a provider that cares. The staff was absolutely delightful and personable. My kids were thrilled to play in the playroom and receive a prize from the toy tower. Our experience was wonderful, and my kids are already looking forward to our next visit!

I highly recommend Dr. Schwed's office! We went for the first time today and the staff was so friendly and Dr. Schwed made us all feel so comfortable. They have a super clean atmosphere, a playroom, and tvs on the ceiling for kids to watch while they're getting their cleaning; all of which were much appreciated! My daughter generally hates going to the dentist and she said "mom, I actually liked being at the dentist today!" My son felt the same way. Needless to say, it was a great experience.

Bringing a 5 week old in for lip/tongue ties was nerve racking, but Dr. Schwed and his team have been amazing throughout this whole process. They have been patient with us to answer all of our questions, worked around our family's schedule, and most importantly, provided great care with a compassionate bedside manner to our daughter. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience here.

I called Dr. Schwed because my newborn wasn't latching and I wanted to get her evaluated for tongue tie. Even though his schedule was packed, he managed to fit us in and see us within 48 hours. During our appointment, he took the time to walk me through each of his findings and the implications, allowing me plenty of time to voice questions and concerns.

He did not push any procedures or interventions, but gave me the necessary information to make an informed decision. I was so impressed with his demeanor, the general office, and his staff. I could not recommend him highly enough

We first met Dr Schwed when he came to my son's daycare to present for career day and could see that he had a passion for his work. Dr. Schwed and his team made my 3 year old so comfortable and he was laughing and having fun! Dr Schwed also gave us some great education in a very helpful and caring way. On the way home my son kept saying how he couldn't wait to go back to the dentist. I cannot recommend this team enough!

From scheduling our appointment through the exam our experience could not have been better! The caring and upbeat office put my daughter right at ease. The office is sparkling clean and well appointed with high quality dental equipment. They even have a TV on the ceiling so the kiddos can watch a cartoon or movie of their choosing during the exam. Dr. Schwed is kind, gentle, and efficient. He explains everything clearly. I appreciated his practical advice by citing lessons learned from his own kids. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I just had a great pediatric dental experience and wanted to share. I have an anxious 4 year old and crazy 2 year old. Both were calm at the dentist.
I love our adult dentist (shoutout Shwarts Family Dentistry), but was looking for more kid friendly environment for my 4 year old. Dr. Schwed was amazing. His office is new, clean, and wonderful.
Dr. Schwed was a nurse, has 4 kids, went to dental school and has done a ton of independent research (especially regarding lip ties).
He sings songs during little exams, he lets the kids touch equipment and ask questions.
Overall, totally recommend!!

We took both of our kids (ages 2 and 5) to see Dr. Schwed this morning and we had a wonderful experience! The staff got us in very quickly and we were really pleased to see how he interacted with our children. We also very much appreciated the amount of time and education we received so we can better assist our children with their dental health. I would definitely recommend Schwed Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics because we had an awesome experience! He’s wonderful with kids!
As an update. Today our son had a dental emergency at daycare. We called Dr. Schwed and he got us in the same evening for an emergency appointment. He was able to quickly diagnose my sons dental needs and thoroughly explained everything to us. This was also my sons first time getting an dental care (outside of a cleaning) and he did amazing - thanks to Dr. Schwed. If your looking for a fantastic pediatric dentist, look no further!
