Dr. Scott Prawat is a graduate of University of Southern California School of Dentistry one of the top dental schools in the United States. He is a provost member of the Dentistry Associates at USC. Dr Prawat generously helps provide scholarships to extraordinarily gifted students at USC to help them achieve their goals both academically and athletics through higher education. He has studied at the Face Institute, completed training in advanced gnathology and occlusion. He is an active member of ADA, CDA, SCCDS, ICIO, American Prosthodontic Society. Dr. Prawats’ focus in the practice is to restore a patients dentition back into a healthy state with quality care, respect and understanding. At all times committed to excellence.

I chose to see Dr. Prawat upon a recommendation by a friend. I had the frustrating experience of dealing with an abscess, which took a total of 6 visits between 2 dental professionals to rectify the problem. This was during a very stressful time in my life, and this prompted me to search for a new DDS. Apparently, due to his expertise and experience, Dr. Prawat would've been able to deal with such a problem in 3 visits.

Dentist and offices are not a place you would enjoy going to, however that is an exception with this Doctor! The grounds and excellent parking plus the whole atmosphere in his office is so welcoming and comfortable. He and his staff really make you feel at ease once you enter, and his lighthearted "chair side" manner helps the whole process of why you are there and what needs to be done.

After not having been to a dentist in years, I decided to visit Dr. Prawat as recommended by my mother in law. I had been considering removing my wisdom teeth as I was experiencing a lot of uncomfort and biting of my own gums. After an initial visit I decided to make a brave decision to move forward with the removal of my wisdom teeth. Dr. Prawat suggested staying awake during the process, and only using local anesthesia. My fear exploded until he explained how my jaw will thank me when I am awake to warn him if it is open for too long or too much.
Although during the procedure I was able to hear the scraping, breaking, cracking, scary noises I wasn't able to feel a thing. Not one thing.
Afterwards, I followed his directions post procedure, took medication when I felt sore and came back several days later to make sure all was well.
Dr. Prawat has been my dentist for more than a year now and I can say that I am not fearful of visiting him. I have experienced fillings, cleanings and even a crown through him and not one of those moments has been painful.
I have referred him to several people and all of them have been extremely satisfied! Thank you Dr. Prawat for putting an end to scary dental work!
