A dental clinic you'll eagerly schedule appointments with! The staff is top-notch, especially Cindy, who effortlessly handled my appointment arrangements and paperwork. My teeth were expertly cleaned by Ana Marie/Ana Belle (apologies if I got the name wrong), who was absolutely fantastic! During the examination, the dentist pleasantly surprised me by offering a home remedy for my tooth pain before suggesting any costly procedures. It's refreshing to encounter a healthcare professional prioritizing patient welfare over profit. I'm thoroughly impressed and compelled to share this glowing review. I'll provide updates after my next visit, although I doubt anything will change – that's how confident I am in their exceptional service.

By far the absolute best dental office in Lakeland! No nonsense or pushy sales tactics trying to sell you services you don't need. I've been looking for a place like this ever since my run in with Aspen Dental who sent me home with an $1,800 bill, very expensive bad tasting rinse and trust issues. Pretty scary outcome for someone who has never even had a cavity.

You definitely won't have that problem here, though. The environment was comfortable and felt more like a visit with distant family than anything else. (I mean, if your family happened to perform routine oral cleaning and look at your mouth a lot.)

Visit was quick and efficient. Staff was very friendly and the doctor knew what he was doing. Just what I needed! Definitely plan to go back for all my dental needs.

I called and left message that I had tooth pain on a Sunday. They promptly returned my call by 9 a.m. Monday and I was in the office by 9:15! In and out, even though I had no appointment. Thank-you very much. I could not be happier with this dentist and the staff. Much appreciated.

The offie staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help out. Dental assistant was also excellent, as was Dr. Sheumaker! Best dentist I have found in 67 years!

Bi-annual check up was excellent as always. Safety was practiced as required. If you are looking for personnel dentistry, not factory dentistry, as there was years ago, this is the place!

Just recently moved here and was needing a dentist, so I just basically picked one off the internet in my area. I was very pleased with Dr. Sheumaker and his staff. I especially like the fact that you get the new patient exam and the cleaning on the same visit. This is not the case with a lot of other dentists I called in town.

Excellent experience at this dental office! I just had a cavity filled in 30 minutes from the time I walked in, until I left. Amazing! The staff is very competent and always friendly. The dentist was on-time for the appointment, fixed my front tooth confidently and with no pain. Exactly what you would expect from a DDS in the biz for over 30 years. He knows his stuff. Never did anyone try to push me to buy unnecessary services like those franchise dental offices (i.e., Coastal). I won't go ANYWHERE else from now on.

Dr. Sheumaker staff was super nice and professional. The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth made great conversation, finished in a timely manner, and was super gentle with me and still got the job done! Dr. Sheumaker was a nice guy to me and to the staff, and made sure I was comfortable. I would definitely recommend!

Glad to have found him reasonable and understanding. A lot of dentists these days feel like used car salesmen trying anything they can to upsell your visit with whatever new product/treatment they have decided to start pawning, NOT Dr. Sheumaker. Just staight forward tried and tested dentistry.

Very personable and professional. We changed dentists because our prior provider relocated. We were pleasantly surprised to find this provider did not try to upsell us on services we didn't need and they understood the limitations of our insurance coverage. We recieved top-notch care. All of our needs and expectations were exceeded. I'd recommend this provider to anyone, regardless of your means. You'll not find better service anywhere.

After making a huge mistake of going to Aspen Dental I found Dr Sheumaker's office. At Aspen Dental it felt like a money hungry dental assembly line but here there is so much one on one personal care. Dr Sheumaker and his staff are top of the line. I have definitely found the place I will be going to as long as I live in Lakeland!

Dr. Sheumaker is a great dentist and has an exceptional staff. It was a great experience (for a dentist) and affordable. I would highly recommend using Dr. Sheumaker for all your dental needs.

Dr. Sheumaker and his staff are outstanding. My hygienist Jane is gentle, caring and at the same time very professional. I actually don't mind going to the dentist!

Dr. Sheumaker is straight forward and does a good job. Does what needs to be done and doesn't try to sell you the farm so to speak. I am glad I found someone with integrity.
