Services
I love being part of our team, working together to provide the best, most gentle care to our patients.
Our patients know and understand our commitment to their oral health and they come in excited to show us the improvements they've made since their last appointment.
It's a good feeling to know that we are able to help such wonderful people.
My work involves taking patient X-rays and assisting our doctors chairside, as they care for our patients.
I am there both for the doctor and for the patient, making sure that everything goes smoothly and that the patient is comfortable.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care.
We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist.
We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth.
Then, the doctor will meet with you to discuss your X-rays, help you create your own individual treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have.
Your regular exam will take about 45 minutes.
Each regular exam includes a detailed teeth cleaning, in which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that have built up on the tooth's surface.
Visiting our office every six months gives you the chance to talk to the doctor about any questions you may have about your oral health.
Regular exams are offered by appointment only, so please contact our practice today to schedule your next dental exam and teeth cleaning.
Preventive dental care is important throughout your life, no matter your age.
By practicing good oral hygiene at home and scheduling regular checkups with your dentist, you can help keep your smile bright and healthy for many years to come.
Brush your teeth at least twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush.
Use fluoride toothpaste to remove food particles and plaque from the tooth surfaces.
Also be sure to brush the top surface of your tongue; this will remove any extra plaque-causing food particles, and help keep your breath fresh!.
Gum disease, also known as periodontal disease, is an infection of the gums surrounding your teeth.
Gum disease is one of the top reasons for tooth loss in adults, and because it is virtually pain-free, many patients do not know they have the disease.
During each regular checkup, your dentist will check for signs of periodontal disease by measuring the space between your teeth and gums.
If the plaque is not removed (by flossing, brushing, and regular dental checkups), it will continue to build up and create toxins that can damage the gums.
