She graduated from Minco High School, and obtained an associate's degree at Redlands College.
Interested in dentistry, she completed the year-long dental assisting program at Platt College.

Dr. Bryan M. Blankenship was born in Shattuck and raised in Oklahoma City.
He enlisted in the Oklahoma Army National Guard in 2002 and earned the rank of Sergeant while serving two tours in Iraq.
When he was in Baghdad, he volunteered in a military dental clinic, where he witnessed the many ways dental care can change lives, which furthered his passion for the profession.
After returning home from Iraq, he earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2010 and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2016.
