Exciting your children to take positive action towards their optimal oral health is crucial to us. We help parents and kids to become a team to build good dental habits. Most importantly, we have fun and we help you to have fun to build a positive view of teeth cleaning. Dr. Maru became a pediatric dentist because she loves making kids smile. She takes pride in ensuring that every child receives the most comprehensive treatment possible within a caring, fun, kid-friendly environment.
At the core of her treatment philosophy is an open line of communication between herself, patients, parents, and pediatricians. Outside of work, Dr. Maru loves to bake, play tennis and spend time with her husband and two young children. QUALIFICATIONS: D.M.D. - Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available.
Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort.
School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.
Dental appointments are an excused absence.
Missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is continued.
Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment.

Dr Melita and Dr Hami are the best of the best!
My 3 daughters have been going to Belmont Pediatric Dentistry for about 15 years and they are always happy going.
Everyone working in the office is very nice and they're always smiling and very professional and helpful.
You will NOT be disappointed!
I was also able to have a visit or two when they moved to their new office in Centre Street before I moved too!

Our team is excellent at communicating with even the smallest child and they take time to get to know and put each child at ease.
If your child is old enough, we will show them around the office and explain the instruments and what our team does.
This takes the fear out of the office and puts kids at ease.
We invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination.
During future appointments, we request that you allow our staff to accompany your child through the dental experience.
We can usually establish a closer rapport with your child when you are not present.
