A crown is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant.
Crowns are often needed when a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth.
They are typically bonded to the tooth using a dental cement.
When we have decided to go ahead with a full crown restoration, we will set aside 2-3 appointments for the entire process.
Although the majority of crowns are completed in two visits, there is sometimes a need for a third visit to ensure a proper fit.

What is a wisdom teeth extraction?
When wisdom teeth are prevented from erupting into the mouth properly, they are referred to as impacted.
Impacted teeth can result in infection, decay of adjacent teeth, gum disease or formation of a cyst or tumor from the follicle, which forms the crown of the tooth.
Many dentists recommend removal of impacted wisdom teeth to prevent potential problems.
What happens after the extraction?
After the tooth is removed, you may need stitches.
Some stitches dissolve over time and some have to be removed after a few days.

What is a Denture?
Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and which are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity.
Conventional dentures are removable, however there are many different denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants.
There are two main types of dentures: full and partial.
Your dentist will help you choose the type of denture that's best for you based on whether some or all of your teeth are going to be replaced and the cost involved.

What is a White Filling?
White filling is a dental restorative material used to restore the function, integrity and morphology of missing tooth structure.
The structural loss typically results from caries or external trauma.
It is also lost intentionally during tooth preparation to improve the aesthetics or the physical integrity of the intended restorative material.
Dental restoration also refers to the replacement of missing tooth structure that is supported by dental implants.
Composite fillings are usually placed in one appointment.
