Services
Dr. Diana Reyes is committed to serving children and understands how important it is to make them comfortable coming to the dentist.
She specializes in starting young infants on a good oral health track.
She is thrilled to be able to practice in her hometown and give back to the people of her community.
She grew up in Union City and stayed close to complete her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of California at Berkeley.
Dr. Reyes earned both her Doctorate in Dental Surgery and her specialty in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of California at Los Angeles.
We make every effort to keep dental care affordable while maintaining the highest level of quality.
We will never compromise your child's care based on what an insurance company says.
Know that dental insurance is designed to defray SOME of the costs of dental care by paying only a portion or percentage of the bill.
Dr. Reyes is signed up as a "Preferred Provider" for Delta Dental Premier.
We are constantly exploring other insurance provider plans.
Please let us know who your provider is so that we may evaluate and possibly negotiate to be a designated provider.
Q: What is nitrous oxide/oxygen?
A: Nitrous oxide/oxygen (N2O-O2) is a blend of two gases - oxygen and nitrous oxide.
A fitted mask is placed over the nose and, as the patient breathes normally, uptake occurs through the lungs.
At the end of treatment, it is eliminated after a short period of breathing oxygen and has no lingering effects.
Q: How will my child feel when breathing nitrous oxide/oxygen?
A: Your child will smell a faint, sweet aroma and experience a sense of well-being and relaxation.
Q: When should I bring in my baby for the first visit?
A: The AAPD recommends your baby's first dental visit to be at age 12 months or 6 months after the first tooth appears, whichever comes first.
Q: What will be done on the first visit?
A: We will be on the look-out for cavities, but that is only one reason for the first visit at 12 months old.
Equally important is reviewing milestones, proper hygiene techniques, and diet.
Establishing the relationship and trust, if begun at an early age, can help your baby become comfortable with coming to the dentist in the future.
