It is that time of life folks! Jeanette's and my body will not allow us to continue providing you, much longer, with the quality of dental care that you have become accustomed to. So instead of "hanging on" until we start compromising your dental treatment, we knew we needed to start planning for the future of the practice and your care. We have carefully evaluated a number of candidates who were interested in assuming our practice.
We have worked with and selected Dr. Amanda Ankrom, a caring, gentle and excellent dentist. Dr. Ankrom grew up in Sonora and graduated from Sonora High School. She is a family friend and we are confident that you will like her as much as we do. We actually wrote her a letter of recommendation for dental school all those years ago. We are confident Dr. Ankrom will provide you with excellent dental care.

Richard Emery graduated from Loma Linda University in 1977.
He has been in his current location in Sonora since 1990.
From 2007-2009, Dr. Emery was an Associate Professor at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.
Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Emery continues to keep up on all current and new technologies, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care possible.
In 2010, Dr. Emery completed the One Year Surgical Program at the Misch International Implant Institute and continues to advance his skills in Implant Dentistry.
He has been in his current location in Sonora since 1990.
