He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. His involvement during dental school included serving as the president of the American Dental Education Association and several leadership roles in other organizations.
He was featured in the UTHSC Alumni Magazine as an outstanding future dentist.

Scheduling your first dental appointment as a new patient may leave you wondering what to expect.
Your first visit will consist of a full set of digital xrays and comprehensive evaluation of your teeth and gums by Dr. Mathews or Dr. Kang.
After that, we will go over your treatment plan with you and set up any financial arrangements that need to be made.
If time allows, we may be able to start treatment the same day as well.
If you have any questions concerning your first visit, don't hesitate to call or email us.
