He earned a B.S. in Biology from Lyon College and a D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry.
He has practice family and cosmetic dentistry in Sherwood since 1998.
Dr. Powell is a member of the Sherwood Rotary Club, and currently serves on their Board of Directors.
He has been awarded Rotarian of the Year and is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow.
He oversees Sherwood Rotary's Healthy Smiles Project, which provides dental education to students at local elementary schools.
