At Iowa Pediatric Dental Center, we provide the highest quality care in a fun, child-friendly setting. We want your child to think of the dentist as their best buddy - and that's why we've equipped our facilities with the latest dental innovations, specially designed for pediatric patients. Our team genuinely loves kids, so we work hard to create a safe, comfortable and fun experience for every one who walks through our doors!
Sure, we focus on education and prevention, but we do it all in a playful space that fosters learning. It doesn't get much better than that! Because here at Iowa Pediatric Dental Center, we don't just care for smiles - we create them. We deliver fun, not fear. By filling our offices with fun touches, like games in our waiting areas and ceiling TVs in our treatment rooms, we've made going to the dentist like going on a playdate - no stress, all smiles.
We put attention on prevention. We "treat and teach" at every visit because we know that when kids learn healthy habits early, it leads to a lifetime of great oral health.

Iowa Pediatric Dental Center isn't just a dentist office.
It's a place children look forward to visiting and where parents are just as comfortable as the patients.
We make sure healthy always comes with a big dose of happy.
Parents in treatment area policy: We welcome one parent to come back per patient.
Bear in mind, some patients do better without mom or dad in the treatment room.
Your child may be better able to focus on treatment instructions.
Plus, this gives the dentist, hygienist and your child a chance to form a trusting relationship.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY CHILD FALLS AND KNOCKS OUT A PERMANENT TOOTH?
Remain calm.
Locate the tooth and pick it up by the chewing surface, being careful not to touch the root.
If the tooth is not dirty or broken, you should attempt to reinsert it into your child's mouth into the empty socket.
If you are able to reinsert it, have your child hold the tooth in place by biting on a clean piece of cloth or gauze and go directly to your pediatric dentist.
If you cannot reinsert the tooth (or if it is dirty or broken), put the tooth in a glass of milk and take it and your child immediately to your dentist's office WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY CHILD KNOCKS OUT A BABY TOOTH?
