He graduated with honors from The University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1979 with a B.S. degree in Biology. Upon graduating from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1983, he and his wife, Janice, moved to Scottsboro. Dr. McGee began private practice in Scottsboro that same year.
